A YES vote protects Scotlands National Health Service

The SNP government, elected in May 2007, has made clear that it opposes the use of partnerships between the NHS and the private sector.

Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon voiced opposition to what she termed the “creeping privatisation” of the NHS, and called an end to the use of public money to help the private sector “compete” with the NHS.

A NO VOTE WILL SEE SELL OFF OF PUBLIC HEALTH CARE:
Drawing on her considerable experience in Scotland’s National Health Service, she spoke about the current privatization within the NHS in England, under the Tory-led coalition, and concluded that it would be completed within five years.
She warned that, if the Scots were to vote No in the independence referendum, Scotland’s NHS would be lost to privatisation within a further five years.
